What is Woodworm?

Woodworm is a term used for beatles or other wood boring insects that attack wood. The most common one is the Common Furniture Beetle (Anobium Punctatum)

What is Rising Damp?

Rising damp is moisture contamination within a structure which has risen from the ground and is usully no more than 1 meter high. Caused by failure of an existing damp course or by rising outside ground levels.

What is Penetrating Damp?

Penetrating damp is where water comes through the wall not up the wall. Usually more common in wet weather in older buildings due to solid constructed walls and poor or cracked pointing.
